Shopping Areas
Shopping in the Canadian Rockies is found in these districts:
- Banff Avenue The main street in Banff, between Wolf Street and Cave Avenue, is the focal point of Banff afternoon and apres-ski shopping. This stretch has many first class and many affordable shops offering clothing, souveniers, food, and gifts. Parking is limited on the Avenue, but are
more plentiful off the side streets, where you'll also find more stores. Especially check out Wolf, Bear, Buffalo, and Caribou streets.
- Canmore Main Street (8 Street) in Canmore features a host of small shops and boutiques, and form the core of resident-oriented (ie., affordable) shopping in the Bow Valley.
- Jasper Connought Drive, across from the train station, is the heart of Jasper's shopping. The more resident-oriented shops are found on the next street
over on the southern end of Patricia (remember, Patricia is a one-way from south to north).
